Polycab India Limited has appointed Gyan Pandey as Chief Digital and Information Officer. This appointment will strengthen its executive leadership as the company accelerates its digital transformation agenda and enhances its technology-driven business capabilities.
With over three decades of extensive experience in information technology and digital transformation across diverse sectors, including manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, engineering, and enterprise IT. He has served as a Sr Executive- Accounts at Panasonic, Assistant Manager-ERP at Spectra, Consultant at Genpact, Principal Consultant at Oracle, Application Project Manager at International Turnkey Systems – ITS, Head of Business Solutions at QAPCO – Qatar Petrochemical Company, and as Global and Group CIO at AUROBINDO PHARMA LTD. He started his professional journey by serving under an articleship at PwC Papua New Guinea. Over the years, he strengthened technology strategy, operational efficiency, and digital capability development across global operations.
He holds his academic qualifications from the University of Calcutta and the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta. In his new role, he will lead Polycab’s digital, information technology, and cybersecurity functions, focusing on advancing the company’s digital agenda, strengthening data and technology platforms, and enabling scalable and future-ready digital capabilities.
His leadership will play a critical role in aligning technology with business strategy and supporting Polycab’s continued growth and operational excellence. His appointment is the company’s commitment to strengthening its digital leadership and accelerating enterprise-wide transformation, positioning the company to drive innovation, enhance operational resilience, and reinforce its leadership in the evolving electrical and infrastructure ecosystem.
