Jindal Steel & Ltd. has appointed Rishi Pathania as Vice President and Head – Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). This appointment reinforces its executive leadership as the company advances its sustainability agenda and strengthens its community development initiatives.
With 25+ years of extensive experience in corporate social responsibility, sustainability strategy, and large-scale program execution. He has played a pivotal role in leading CSR initiatives that foster community empowerment, livelihood enhancement, education, healthcare access, and environmental stewardship. He has served as a Senior Manager at iDE (International Development Enterprises), Head CSR – Chemical Business at Tata Chemicals, and Global Head (VP) – CSR (UPL Group) at UPL.
He holds strong academic and professional credentials from Xavier Institute of Social Service and Nagpur University that underpin his expertise in CSR and sustainable development. In his new role, he will focus on strengthening the company’s CSR strategy, deepening community partnerships, and steering initiatives that contribute to inclusive growth and long-term value creation for communities associated with the company’s operations.
