Adidas Korea appoints Markus Morent as the new Managing Director

adidas announced Markus Morent as the new Managing Director of the Korean market. Marking the first regional leadership after Korea was announced a standalone market, separate from the APAC region.

Morent has 25 years of experience across the several countries. He has been associated with Adidas for 20 years. He has been with the company since 2005 and has led the company in many leadership roles like Vice President DTC Adidas Korea, and Latin America. Before becoming the MD, he was the General Manager of Adidas Colombia.

With this strategic appointment, the company aims to achieve significant milestones in the Korean market. Morent has years of experience in handling adidas across borders and has previously worked at Adidas Korea. This is a power move that will help the company to amplify it’s brand presence.

Adidas Korea announced on a press release, “As the new managing director with deep knowledge of and extensive experience in the Korean market, Morent will focus on further optimizing a consistent, consumer-centric Adidas brand experience and enhancing customer satisfaction through diverse retail channels and strategic marketing initiatives,”
