AECOM welcomes Janus Rostock as Managing Director

AECOM has appointed Janus Rostock as the new Managing Director – Buildings+Places, Middle East & Africa (MEA). He succeeds Mario Pishiri, who recently retired after a long and distinguished tenure with the firm. Rostock brings over twenty years of international experience in architecture, urbanism and integrated design to his new role.

Most recently, as Vice President of Urbanism, Planning and Architecture for the MEA region, he oversaw multidisciplinary teams delivering large-scale master plans, cultural landmarks, and sustainable infrastructure projects across MEA and Europe. In his 25+ years of industry experience, Janus has worked with SIGNAL, Atkins Middle East, KHR Arkitekter AS, and Henning Larsen Architects.

Under his leadership, AECOM’s Buildings+Places business in the region aims to deepen client partnerships, enhance interdisciplinary collaboration, and deliver sustainable, across the MEA region.
