The Woolmark Company has announced the appointment of Ajay Pradhan as Country Manager, India. This appointment is a strategic leadership role focused on advancing the brand’s growth and sustainability agenda in one of its key markets.
With over 16 years of experience in textiles, fashion, marketing, brand strategy, and industry engagement, with a proven track record of driving commercial impact and building strong partnerships across the value chain. He has served as AGM Marketing at KAZO Brands, Senior Brand Manager at Blackberrys Menswear, and Account Manager at Contract India. Throughout his career, he has led marketing and business development initiatives across South Asia and played a key role in promoting merino wool adoption across diverse consumer and industry segments.
In his new role, he will be responsible for strengthening trade relationships, expanding industry collaborations, and driving innovation-led growth initiatives within the Indian market. He will also focus on enhancing Woolmark’s engagement with manufacturers, designers, and retailers to accelerate the adoption of sustainable wool solutions.
