Divya Chadha Joins as Head of Marketing at Amazon Music India

Amazon Music India has appointed Divya Chadha as the new Head of Marketing. Chadha brings over a decade of experience in the music and streaming industries. With her expertise, Amazon Music will explore the competitive landscape of the music streaming industry in India.

Chadha has worked with Spotify, Amazon, eBay Inc., and more. She led Spotify for 6 years as the Head of Brand and Consumer Marketing, contributing to the growth of the company’s free and premium user base.

She led Amazon as the Senior Brand Marketing Manager. During her tenure, she has run several campaigns and expanded category penetration in Tier 1 and Tier 2 towns.

She announced her new journey with Amazon Music on LinkedIn, quoting, “After six absolutely amazing years building the brand at Spotify India, I’m excited to be back at Amazon — this time with Amazon Music as Head of Marketing in Mumbai!”

As she returns to Amazon, her extensive experience will be leveraged in brand and consumer marketing. India’s online music streaming industry is around $626.37 million in 2025 and is expected to grow rapidly by 2030. A great time for Amazon Music to amplify its market presence.
