American Express welcomed Bharat Raizada as the Global Head of Enterprise Cloud. Bharat will be leading the company’s cloud and infrastructure strategy while focusing on tech platforms that can drive innovations, security for American Express’ global operations.
Raizada brings more than 25 years of experience across technology infrastructure, engineering, and IT Delivery. He has worked with WellsFargo, JPMorgan Chase & Co., GoldmanSachs, Cognizant Technology Solutions, BNY Mellon, and CGI, delivering large-scale platforms and transformative initiatives across financial services. Started his early career in as a Software Engineer at GCI. At Wells Fargo, he has served as the MD and CTO for India and the Philippines, leading 3000+ people across enterprise tech infrastructure, private/public cloud engineering, API management, AI/ML initiatives, and observability solutions.
As Global Head of Enterprise Cloud, Raizada will focus on advancing American Express’ cloud-first strategy, strengthening global infrastructure resilience, and driving innovation to enhance customer and business experiences. His appointment marks a significant step in AmEx’s commitment to technology excellence and digital transformation.
