Salesforce has announced the appointment of Anil Datar as Vice President, Global Partner Solution Engineering. This is a strategic appointment that will strengthen its global partner ecosystem and advance technical collaboration across its data and AI-driven enterprise platform.
With over two decades of experience in enterprise technology, partner strategy, and technical sales leadership. During his professional career, he served as a Customer Delivery Manager, MBT International at Tech Mahindra, Advisor, Partner Enablement at Tenfold, A LivePerson (LPSN) Company, Strategic Advisor & Chair, Inteliment Academia Program at Inteliment Technologies, Program manager at CVS Health and Program Management Leader at Fiserv. He spent 15+ years at Informatica, where he most recently served as a Vice President, Global Partner Technical Sales, where he was responsible for planning and executing partner technical strategy supporting our strategic GSI partners globally.
He holds a strong academic foundation from a reputed organisation and has built deep expertise in building global partner ecosystems, driving technical enablement programs, and scaling enterprise technology adoption. In his new role, he will be responsible for leading Salesforce’s Global Partner Solution Engineering function within the Data Foundation organisation, working closely with partners to deliver integrated data and AI capabilities across the Salesforce ecosystem.
This appointment aims to strengthen Salesforce’s partner-led innovation strategy as the company continues to expand its enterprise AI, data, and integration capabilities through platforms such as MuleSoft, Tableau, and Data Cloud.
