
HSBC Private Bank has appointed Ann Ling as the Regional Wealth Planning and Advisory for the Asia Pacific Region. With two decades of experience in the financial services sector, she has worked with several renowned companies in wealth planning services.
Before joining HSBC, she had worked with J.P. Morgan, UBS, Morgan Stanley, and EY. She joined HSBC in 2019 and has been deepening relationships with ultra-high-net worth clients through advice on trust, succession, and cross-border real estate planning.
Ling will start her new position on 1st July 2025, effective. Currently, she is serving as the Team Head of Wealth Planning for Hong Kong, the Philippines, and the International Market. In her new role, Ling will play a crucial role in delivering HSBC’s wealth planning and trust advisory services.
“Ann will play a key role in delivering the bank’s wealth planning and trust advisory services, building on our trustee’s nearly 80-year legacy of supporting families around the world, particularly in Asia,” announced the company on LinkedIn.
“Ann’s extensive experience in wealth planning, coupled with her deep understanding of international markets and family dynamics, will further strengthen our leadership in delivering bespoke solutions,” commented Lok Yim, Regional Head, HSBC Global Private Banking, Asia Pacific, on the new appointment.
