Manappuram Finance Limited has appointed Ashish Chandak as Group Chief Compliance Officer, strengthening the organisation’s governance, risk, and compliance framework. Chandak will work closely with the Manappuram Group’s leadership.
A seasoned banker with nearly three decades of expertise in the BFSI sector, Chandak brings financial expertise across corporate governance, credit risk management, fraud risk, regulatory compliance, and enterprise risk management.
Before joining Manappuram, he worked with multiple organisations like YES BANK, ICICI Venture, IDFC FIRST Bank, L&T Finance, and Thermax Limited. He served at Yes Bank for 15 years, where he held several senior leadership roles, most recently serving as Head – Fraud Risk Management and earlier as Chief Compliance Officer.
Known for his structured approach and strategic insight, he is expected to play a critical role in supporting Manappuram Finance’s growth while ensuring the highest standards of compliance, transparency, and regulatory integrity across the group.
