Capital Group has appointed Ser Kiat Lim as Director, Financial Intermediaries for Singapore and Southeast Asia. In this role, Lim will deepen Capital Group’s retail and private-wealth distribution footprint in the region and expand its network of investment consultants and relationship managers across banks, insurance firms, and investment platforms.
Lim brings a decade of experience in intermediary sales. Most recently, he was Executive Director at Goldman Sachs Asset Management, where he covered third-party wealth distribution sales, and prior to that, he held a role at J.P. Morgan Asset Management.
The move comes amid increasing interest from global asset managers in Southeast Asia’s affluent and affluent-aspiring investor base, making Lim’s regional leadership role a strategic addition for Capital Group’s growth agenda.
