Cathay Pacific announced Abhijit Abhyankar as the Regional Head of Customer Travel and Lifestyle

Cathay Pacific has appointed Abhijit Abhyankar as the Regional Head of Customer Travel and Lifestyle for South Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. He will be leading customer experience, passenger sales, marketing communications, and lifestyle marketing initiatives across key markets, including Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and South Africa.

In his new role, Abhyankar aims to elevate Cathay’s customer travel experience while strengthening strategic partnerships in lifestyle, retail, and digital engagement across the SAMEA region. Over the years, he has handled multiple segments of the company, like public relations, customer services, direct sales, and online sales, while overseeing the overall sales strategy in the northern region of India.

Abhijit has been associated with Cathay for more than 15 years now and has served multiple roles in the company, including Regional Head of People – South Africa, Middle East and Africa, Regional Marketing  Communications Manager – South Africa, and more, bringing vast cross-border experience with the company.

With over 20 years of experience, he has worked with KLM, Le Meridien Hotels & Resorts, and JetAirways.
