HDFC Bank appointed Chinmay P Mirjankar as Senior Vice President I – Head Infra Server and Storage. With more than 26 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, banking, and team leadership, Chinmay brings knowledge and experience in driving technology transformation and operational resilience across the financial services sector.
Chinmay served as the Executive Vice President at SBMBank (India), where he oversaw critical infrastructure initiatives, data center migrations, and hyper-converged infrastructure implementations.
Earlier, Chinmay held senior leadership positions at RBLBank and AxisBank, where he spearheaded virtualization, disaster recovery, and large-scale IT operations—achieving milestones such as increasing virtualization levels from 15% to 90%. His proven track record in vendor management, collaboration, and infrastructure modernization has consistently delivered measurable results.
In his new role, Chinmay will lead server, storage, and data protection systems at HDFCBank, further enhancing the bank’s infrastructure capabilities to support its ambitious growth and digital transformation journey.
