
Citi has appointed Kaustubh Kulkarni as the Co-Head of Investment Banking coverage across key Asia-Pacific regions, including Japan, North Asia & Australia, and South Asia, effective from December 2025. Based in Singapore, he will be leading with Jan Metzger and will be reporting to Viswas Raghavan.
Kaustubh brings over three decades of experience from J.P. Morgan, where he held high-profile roles. His extensive track record includes leading transformative deals and building strategic client relationships across financial markets. Over the years, he has led some of the largest acquisitions and mergers for clients in Asia and India.
With Kulkarni’s deep regional expertise and leadership alongside Metzger, Citi is poised to accelerate its M&A and capital markets momentum, reinforcing its position in one of the world’s fastest-growing financial landscapes.
