Citi has announced the appointments of Deepika Rangan and Baijul Raval to senior leadership roles. This is a strategic appointment move that focuses on strengthening leadership capabilities and enhancing operational excellence across its global banking and financial services operations.
Deepika Rangan has been appointed as a Vice President. With over a decade of experience in banking operations and financial services. She has spent more than 14 years at Standard Chartered, where most recently she was serving as Information and Cybersecurity, where she manage Swift Customer Security Programme (CSP) Attestation, including control testing for Customer Security Controls Framework (CSCF) and second line of defence review. She holds a strong academic foundation from Anna University Chennai.
Baijul Raval has been appointed as Senior Vice President. With over a decade of experience in risk management, project management, and operational strategy. During her professional journey, she has served as an Executive (Anti-Infectives) at Sanofi, Manager Sales planning and Capability Building (All India) at Blue Dart, Manager Marketing and Sales Support at DHL, and as a Vice President at JPMorganChase. She holds her academic qualifications from the University of Mumbai and ITM Group of Institutions.
In their new roles, they will be responsible for driving strategic initiatives, strengthening operational frameworks, and supporting Citi’s growth objectives across key business functions. These appointments will strengthen Citi’s leadership structure as the organisation continues to enhance operational resilience and deliver integrated financial solutions to its global client base.
