The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has given CSB Bank Limited permission to reappoint Pralay Mondal as MD and CEO for a three-year term beginning September 15, 2025.
In accordance with the Companies Act of 2013 and the SEBI Listing Regulations, the bank will now request shareholder approval for the reappointment.
Pralay Mondal was the head of retail banking at Axis Bank before joining CSB Bank in September 2020. He started out at CSB as President, in charge of operations, IT, SME, and retail. In February 2022, he was elevated to Deputy Managing Director.
Since April 2022, Pralay served as the Bank’s acting MD and CEO. In the past, he has held positions with Colgate-Palmolive, Wipro InfoTech, HDFC Bank, YES BANK, and Standard Chartered Bank.
