Deepa Krishnan appointed as Head of Marketing at Edelweiss Alternate Asset Advisors

Deepa Krishnan has been appointed Head of Marketing at Edelweiss Alternate Asset. With this appointment she will lead the firm’s marketing strategy and initiatives to drive growth and brand positioning across its real estate and alternate asset advisory business.

She holds nearly 25 years of marketing, strategy, and brand leadership experience. Most recently, she served as Head of Marketing for India and South West Asia at Hyatt, overseeing regional marketing operations and strategic brand engagement. Earlier in her career, she spent more than four years at Starbucks India, where she led initiatives across marketing, category management, loyalty, and digital functions, enhancing customer experience and brand loyalty. Her professional journey also includes senior leadership roles at Kantar, Idea Cellular Ltd. and DIAGEO India, as well as consulting experience with The Futures Company and early marketing roles at Godrej & Boyce Mfg. Co. Ltd.

In her new role, she will be responsible for shaping and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to support business growth, enhance client engagement, and strengthen the firm’s competitive positioning in the alternatives investment landscape. Her appointment reflects both her extensive marketing expertise and her track record of building strong brand and growth-oriented functions across sectors.
