At sunrise, a young student began a daily ten-kilometer walk to school, a journey defined not by distance alone but by determination. That student would go on to become the first individual in his village to complete formal education. The experience shaped more than his academic path; it forged a quiet conviction about perseverance, discipline, and the transformative power of learning.
That student is Dr. Maruti Khaire. His journey reflects the power of choice and determination. The lessons formed during those early years continue to guide him today as a technology leader, where he carries forward a belief shaped long ago: meaningful progress demands commitment, especially when the path forward is demanding or unconventional.
Today, he serves as President – R&D (CTO) at Advik Hi-Tech, leading a 150-member engineering ecosystem spanning design, mechatronics, embedded systems, testing, and digital platforms. Across more than twenty-five years, he has helped transform conventional mechanical portfolios into software-enabled, future-ready mobility platforms. With nineteen personal patents and over 150 organizational patents developed under his leadership, his approach to innovation is rooted in structured thinking, scalability, and long-term industry value.
Recognised among India’s Leading CTOs of 2026, Dr. Maruti reflects on purposeful leadership and the discipline that drives meaningful progress. In an exclusive interview with Corporate TrendZ Business Magazine, he shared:
“Real progress lies in alignment and how closely your work reflects your purpose, and how meaningfully that purpose contributes to something larger than yourself. Achievements provide satisfaction, but they are temporary. Purpose provides direction. Achievements are outcomes; purpose is continuity. For me, progress is defined not by recognition, but by legacy, expressed through lasting influence on people, platforms, and possibilities.”
