With over 24 years of professional experience across consumer durables, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), and international business environments. He also served as Chief Financial Officer at Bajaj Electricals Ltd, senior leadership positions at Voltas Limited – A TATA Enterprise, substantive finance and commercial management roles at Emami Ltd. Over the course of his career, Prasad has developed deep functional expertise in financial management, operational optimisation, governance frameworks, and strategic decision support.
Prasad’s academic credentials include qualification as a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), Kolkata, and as a Cost Accountant from the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India (ICWA), Kolkata. He has also completed an Executive MBA in Finance from Harvard University, reflecting a strong foundation in advanced finance and leadership principles.
In his new role, he will lead the company’s finance organisation, focusing on strengthening financial discipline, enhancing governance frameworks, and supporting strategic budgeting, risk management, and long-term value creation.
