Akshay Sapru joined FundsIndia as the Chief Executive Officer, with nearly 30 years of experience in the financial industry. In his three decades of expertise, he has led several renowned companies, serving at senior levels.
He worked with ACUMEN SECURITIES PRIVATE LIMITED, ICICI Bank, ABN AMRO Bank N.V., IndusInd Bank, and YES BANK. Sapru has worked with Yes Bank for over a decade, during which he held several leadership positions, including Head of Brand Banking, National Head for Branch Banking Metro Urban, and Country Head of Affluent Banking and Retail Wealth.
During his tenure at Yes Bank, he had driven growth and scaled the bank’s Retail Liability franchise from 2013 to 2022. He has been instrumental in strengthening regulatory governance and streamlining processes. Sapru has led Yes Bank with immense expertise, creating a foundation in banking and financial services.
