Gallagher has named Ryan Witchard as the new Executive Director of its Middle East & Africa Marine practice, a move that strengthens its specialty marine insurance leadership in the region. Based in Dubai at Gallagher’s regional headquarters in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), Witchard will oversee marine insurance solutions, including shipping, cargo, hull, and machinery risks.
Ryan brings over a decade of expertise in the marine segment, where he has worked with Wilson Europe Limited, MarshMcLennan, and Marsh Middle East and Africa. Over the years, he has led multiple leadership roles where he honed his skills as a marine leader across the Middle East and Africa region.
