Grihum Housing Finance has appointed Arjun Chowdhry as the new Managing Director and CEO, marking a significant move in the housing finance sector. Arjun brings 30 years of expertise in consumer banking and financial services and is expected to accelerate growth while creating a stronger market footprint.
Before joining this role, Chowdhry had been appointed as the Group Executive of Affluent Banking, NRI, cards, and payments at AxisBank, playing a crucial role in expanding retail and digital banking. Arjun had served at CitiIndia in multiple leadership roles, including Country Head of Consumer Bank and Managing Director & Business Head of Payments, Credit Cards & Unsecured Loans, for 29 years. At Citi, he drove transformation while securing strategic partnerships and expanding the portfolio across lending and payments.
His career also includes key roles as COO & NRI Business Head, Business Head – Citi at Work & Investment Products, and Business Manager – Partnerships & Alliances. With this appointment, Chowdhry is poised to lead Grihum Housing Finance’s next phase of innovation, customer focus, and market growth in India’s dynamic housing finance sector. Arjun earned a PGDM degree in Finance and Marketing from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore.
