Hero MotoCorp appointed Harsh Chitale as the CEO. Vikram Kasbekar stepped down from his Acting CEO role and will continue as the Executive Director and Chief Technology Officer on the board.
With more than 30 years of global leadership experience, Harsh brings deep expertise in industrial automation, IT services, and digital transformation. He has worked with multiple corporations across India, the US, and Europe, driving growth and organizational transformation.
Before joining Hero, Harsh was the CEO of Professional Business and a Member of the Board of Management at Signify, where he led B2C and B2B segments. Under his leadership, the company achieved annual sales of around €4 billion and expanded its presence across multiple countries. He also worked with HCL Enterprise, Honeywell, and TataAdministrativeServices. He served 16 years at Honeywell, successfully leading multiple leadership positions and contributing significantly to marketing and business development.
His appointment signals Hero MotoCorp’s renewed focus on global competitiveness, digital transformation, and strengthening its leadership in the mobility sector.
