Hemant K. is appointed as the new Chief Financial Officer at GRASIM INDUSTRIES LIMITED ( ADITYA BIRLA GROUP). Grasim Industries’ Board approved his appointment as CFO and Key Managerial Personnel on 22nd May 2025. Mr. Hemant took over the role on 16th August 2025, effective.
Hemant has three decades of experience with the Aditya Birla Group. Joined as a trainee in 1991, and over the years, he has handled multiple business verticals of the organization, including AdityaBirlaNuvo, BirlaWhite, and Grasim.
Before becoming CFO, he was handling taxation, internal audit, risk management, mergers & acquisitions, and complex corporate litigations. His expertise in the financial domain and experience with the company make him an ideal fit for the role. His appointment highlights Grasim’s goals to enter the high-growth sectors such as paints, specialty chemicals, and more.
Hemant’s appointment is more than a leadership transition; it is a strategic shift towards the company’s sustainable goals. Grasim is the upcoming green leader of India, with 51% of water recycled and 11% of energy from renewables, tripling the renewable capacity by 2030.
