HSBC announced the elevation of Suvir Davda as the Managing Director and Head of Corporate Sales, India, Markets & Securities Services. In his role, he will be heading the corporate sales in South India and the macro desk.
With his 20 years of expertise, he will lead the corporate risk solutions business pan India, which also includes fundraising ideas, liability management, and more. Additionally, he will drive sales strategy for multinational clients in the commercial banking space and spearhead overseas roadshows across Europe, the US, and Asia to deepen global client engagement.
Suvir has been serving HSBC for nearly two decades now and was earlier associated with Infosys as an Associate Consultant. He joined HSBC in 2006 and served multiple leadership roles, like Director of Global Markets and Managing Director, playing a vital role in shaping the bank’s markets and sales strategy across India.
