Hussain Ali becomes the Vice Chairman of the Association of Development Financing Institutions in Asia and the Pacific (ADFIAP).

Ali has nearly two decades of experience in the financial services industry. He has worked with HSBC, Bank Sohar International, Dhofar Global, and Muscat Finance SAOG. He is currently serving as the CEO of the Development Bank. In his previous companies, he has held leadership positions including Head – Mid Corporate and Chief Manager – Large Corporate at Bank Sohar, where he led Bank Dhofar as the Deputy General Manager – CCBO, as well as Assistant General Manager & Acting CRBO.

At ADFIAP, he will be focusing on the development banks and other financial institutions that have expertise in finance development. The organisation has 97 institutional members across 42 countries.

Ali is also an active member of the National Industrial Development Committee, contributing to policy-making. He completed his education at prestigious institutions like Harvard Business School, Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, and the University of Mumbai, contributing to his finance and management.
