IndusInd Bank welcomes Rajiv Anand as the Managing Director and CEO. Bringing over three decades of experience across banking, capital markets, and asset management, Rajiv steps into the role after an illustrious career leading retail and commercial banking operations.
Before joining IndusInd Bank, Anand had served key leadership roles at Axis Bank for nearly 12 years. He started his journey at Axis Bank as the MD and CEO at Axis Asset Management, where he was responsible for the overall management of the firm. In 2014, he became the President of Retail Banking at Axis Bank and has headed the retail banking segment as Executive Director of Retail Bank.
Earlier, he held senior investment and treasury roles at Standard Chartered, IDFC Asset Management, ANZ Grindlays, and HSBC, building deep expertise in balance sheet management, equity research, and capital markets.
A Chartered Accountant by training, Anand is recognised for his sharp financial skills and proven track record in the financial services. At IndusInd Bank, he will be focusing on strengthening retail and wholesale banking, enhancing technology-led services in the financial landscape.
