IndusInd Bank elevated Shayan Basu as the Zonal Head – Branch Banking for North II, where he will be handling branch networks across major states and Union Territories, including Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh and Chandigarh. In his new role, he will be responsible for 300+ bank branches, overseeing product sales across liabilities, assets, and third-party wealth.
He has been with IndusInd Bank for the last 17 years, successfully leading top positions as EVP & National Sales Head – Liabilities, TASC, Virtual Sales and Head of Service & Channel Head.
Before joining IndusInd, he was associated with RoyalBankofScotlandBusiness, ABNAMROBank, and Citigroup. He started his journey as the Sales Executive, Credit Cards, at Citigroup. Over the years, he has climbed his way up with resilience and consistent contributions across multiple financial institutions.
He shared his journey with IndusInd Bank: “After a long stint in the country office managing multiple channels, products & services, I am now taking on the new role to run one of the largest branch networks for IndusInd Bank. My experience running multiple channels nationally would be of great use to ensure all departments collaborate & work together within a geographical region.”
