Castrol India Limited appointed Kaushik Vedula as Vice President & Head – Marketing. The appointment reinforces on strengthening its senior leadership bench as the company navigates an evolving automotive and lubricants landscape.
With over two decades of professional experience spanning consumer goods, fast-moving consumer durables (FMCD), digital-first businesses, and entrepreneurial ventures. He began his career in 2004 and has held a series of progressively senior roles encompassing brand management, consumer marketing, category development, multi-channel sales, new business development, and profit-and-loss responsibility.
Mr. Vedula served as Vice President – Marketing at Emami Ltd. He also held the position of Vice President at Quess Corp Limited, marketing and sales roles with Procter & Gamble, Nokia, and Philips. He holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta and a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Computer Science from the (International Institute of Information Technology Hyderabad (IIITH), equipping him with both strategic business acumen and analytical depth.
In his new role at Castrol India, Mr. Vedula will lead the company’s marketing organisation, with a focus on advancing brand relevance and strengthening consumer engagement. This leadership appointment aligns with Castrol India’s broader strategic priorities as it builds capabilities to respond to shifts in mobility trends, channel dynamics, and customer expectations across the automotive and industrial segments.
