Arun Srinivas was promoted to managing director and head of Meta India. Srinivas was in charge of the tech giant’s advertising division in India. The new position will go into effect on July 1, 2025.

In order to strengthen Meta’s long-term commitment to one of its biggest and fastest-growing areas, he will now oversee the company’s commercial operations and strategy across Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp. After graduating from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta (IIM), Srinivas has worked in sales and marketing for almost 30 years with companies like WestBridge Capital, Ola, Reebok, and Hindustan Unilever. He joined Meta in 2020 and currently serves as Director and Head of Ads Business in India, where he has worked on initiatives related to artificial intelligence, Reels, and messaging.
