Takashi Nakajima will be heading Honda Cars India Ltd as the new President and CEO effective from April 1, 2025. Nakajima has been associated with Honda for 30 years now and has successfully managed international markets like Japan, China, Spain, Russia, and more.
Since 2021, he has been serving as the President of Honda Motor Russia. Nakajima at his latest assignment was also responsible for product planning, marketing, and corporate communications for Honda in their domestic market in Japan.
He will succeed Takuya Tsumura. Tsumura will return to headquarters in Japan after completing his three years in India. Nakajima has immense experience in business planning and is expected to drive Honda’s growth in the Indian automotive market.
