Nilesh Shah is appointed as the Head of Region for Asia Pacific, Middle East, and Africa. With over 25 years of experience in the medical technology and life science sectors, Nilesh brings deep knowledge and expertise to the table for Illumina.
In his professional journey, he has worked with West Pharmaceutical Services, Advanced Sterilization Products, GE Healthcare, and Johnson & Johnson. At West Pharma, he served as the Vice President and General Manager for Asia Pacific and South America. He was responsible for leading commercial and operational strategy across the region while handling cultural transformation and business growth.
During his tenure at ASP, he was the Vice President and General Manager – Global Commercial, where he led sales, marketing, field service, and order management in North America, EMEA, APAC, and LATAM, increasing the recurring revenue to 80% in the US services.
