Operation Sindhu: First Evacuation Flight Brings 110 Indian Students Home

Amid the escalating Israel-Iran conflict, Operation Sindhu has successfully brought back 110 Indian students safely to Delhi. India launched Operation Sindhu to evacuate Indian nationals safely to the homeland from Iran.
“Indian students in Tehran have been moved out of the city for safety reasons through arrangements made by the Indian Embassy,” the Ministry of External Affairs conveyed in their official communication.

“Operation Sindhu begins. India launched Operation Sindhu to evacuate Indian nationals from Iran. India evacuated 110 students from northern Iran who crossed into Armenia under the supervision of our Missions in Iran and Armenia on 17th June.” – announced Randhir Jaiswal, the MEA spokesperson via X.
