Edrington has appointed Paul Ross as Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Edrington India. This appointment will aim at the company’s strategic commitment to strengthening its operations and growth momentum in one of the world’s most dynamic and fastest-growing spirits markets.
Ross brings more than three decades of leadership experience with Edrington, having held senior roles across Asia Pacific, the UK, and the Americas. He has played a pivotal role in the organisation’s growth and expenditure, and most recently served as President & Chief Executive Officer of Edrington Americas, where he led the accelerated expansion of the company’s largest premium spirits market.
Over the years, he has also served in senior positions at Ooni as Chairman of the Board, Wyoming Whiskey, Inc. as a Member of the Board of Directors, Distilled Spirits Council of the United States, ROAR Organic, Tequila Partida, The Macallan, China-Britain Business Council, Maxxium UK Ltd, and at EY.
His academic background includes qualifications in Accountancy and Business Law from the University of Glasgow, ICAS – The Professional Body of CAs, Hult Ashridge Executive Education, INSEAD, and Turnbull High School. In his new role, he will focus on embedding Edrington’s culture and values, building a resilient commercial platform, and driving sustainable growth in India’s evolving spirits landscape.
This appointment highlights Edrington’s long-term confidence in the Indian market and its intent to deepen engagement with consumers who increasingly value craftsmanship, heritage, and premium brand experiences.
