“Meaningful progress has been made, but there’s still work to do. Creating more women leaders isn’t just about positive intentions; it requires organizations to build inclusion into the way they identify, develop, and promote talent. One of the biggest shifts we need is moving beyond mentorship to active sponsorship. Advice is important, but real career growth often comes when leaders advocate for talented women and create opportunities for them to take on larger roles. Equally important is accountability. Organizations should measure progress through leadership representation, career advancement, and equitable opportunities, because what is measured is more likely to improve. I consider it my duty to extend the same opportunities to others that I received from leaders who recognized my potential and helped me succeed.”
