PropertyGuru Group appointed Lu Yao (姚潞) PhD as the Managing Director for Singapore, where he will be leading the Singapore’s market while developing strategies that deliver better solutions to the customers. Yao will be directly reporting to CEO Lewis Ng.
With an impressive background in marketplace and e-commerce management across the Asia region, Yao brings exceptional commercial growth and operations excellence. During his tenure at Daraz, he was leading Daraz Bangladesh as CCO. He also led as the CCO of Daraz Group where he led growth and profit of the e-commerce platform across all markets. He also worked with Shopee, McKinsey & Company, TheDowChemicalCompany, and PutnamAssociates.
