Rajat Verma has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of DBS Bank India. Verma brings over 24 years of experience in the banking sector.
He has worked with HSBC for 26 years, and his contributions have made an impact across the banking sector and have benefited the company in tapping deeper into the Indian market.
Verma joined HSBC as the Branch Manager, Juhu for retail banking. He has successfully managed North India as the Head of Cash Management. He became the MD, Country Head for Commercial Banking in India. Verma joined DBS Bank as the MD Country Head of Institutional Banking in 2023.
Verma completed his Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Delhi College of Engineering. Later pursued MBA in Finance and Marketing from Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow.
