RBL Bank has appointed Chetan Sakharkar as the Deputy Vice President, strengthening its leadership in operations management within the financial services space. With over two decades of extensive experience, Sakharkar brings proven expertise in operations, product management, client servicing, compliance, and risk assessment, along with a strong record of handling large-scale projects.
Before this role, he served as Assistant Vice President at RBL Bank and Deputy Vice President. Chetan also served multiple financial institutions like National Securities Depository Limited (NSDL), BirlaSunLifeInsurance, and TCS E-Serve. He was Head of Operations – Financial Services at Vakrangee Limited, overseeing products and contributing significantly to the company. During his tenure at NSDL, he was heading initiatives like the development of the Corporate Bonds Database and ensuring regulatory compliance under SEBI’s framework.
At RBL Bank, Sakharkar will focus on enhancing operational efficiency, scaling new financial products, and ensuring compliance excellence. His leadership is expected to further reinforce the bank’s commitment to innovation, risk management, and customer-centric growth.
