Restaurant Brands Asia, the operator of BurgerKing in India, has appointed Arijit Datta as its new Chief Financial Officer. Datta succeeds Sumit Zaveri, who served as Interim CFO since May 2025.
With over two decades of experience in finance, strategy, and governance, Datta brings a wealth of expertise to RBA. He previously served as CFO at PepeJeans India Ltd and has held senior roles at AgroTechFoods Ltd and Eveready Industries India Ltd. A Chartered Accountant, Datta holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in commerce.
His appointment is expected to strengthen the RBA’s financial leadership as the company continues to expand its footprint in the Indian quick-service restaurant market.
