Allianz appointed Ritu Arora as its new Country Head – India. In her new role, Arora will lead strategy execution, business expansion, and market leadership initiatives across India.
Arora joins from her prior roles as CEO & CIO of Allianz Investment Management Asia Pacific and India Advisor to the Allianz SE Board. During her tenure as Asia CIO, she managed investment functions across 11 countries, overseeing an AUM portfolio of about $34 billion.
Earlier, she has worked with HCLInfosystems Ltd, CanaraBank Securities, Coca Cola India, GilletteIndia, and more. Her appointment reinforces Allianz’s commitment to India’s rapidly growing insurance ecosystem and its vision for long-term sustainable growth.
