Sanjog Gupta became the CEO of the International Cricket Council (ICC), the governing body of world cricket. Gupta is the seventh Chief Executive Officer, and the appointment was announced by Jay Shah, ICC Chairman. Gupta will take over from Geoff Allardice.

Before joining ICC, he worked with JioStar Network, Disney Star, INTV, NDTV, Star India News, and more. In his 20+ years of experience, he has consistently served in the news and sports industry. At Star TV, he headed the cricket operations at Star Sports and later became the Executive Vice President, leading Sports Production and Programming across TV and Digital.

In 2024, he joined JioStar as the Chief Executive Officer for Sports. In his organisation, he led the sports department, covering renowned leagues like the IPL, the Champions Trophy, the Test Series, and so much more. He broke records and achieved billions of views on matches.
