Google Cloud Community India has welcomed Sashikumar Sreedharan as the new Managing Director. He will succeed Bikram Singh Bedi as the company strengthens its position in the competitive cloud market. Sreedharan comes with 20 years of experience in technology. His diverse expertise makes him an ideal fit for the role.
Sreedharan has worked with renowned companies like Happiest Minds Technologies Pvt Ltd, Microsoft, SAP, IBM, Sutherland Global Services, and Wipro Infotech Limited. He initially started his career as an Account Manager at Wipro and scaled his experience as he progressed in his career.
He was associated with Microsoft for more than a decade. He was responsible for leading the premier field engineering in Asia, which includes ANZ, Greater China, Japan, and India.
In 2023, Sreedharan joined Google Cloud as COO for the Asia Pacific region, leading the market strategies. In his new role as MD, he will be responsible for Google Cloud’s operations in India while closely collaborating with renowned organisations to drive growth in sectors like banking, retail, healthcare, and IT.
