
Societe Generale Corporate and Investment Banking – SGCIB welcomed Alvaro Huete to lead Singapore and Southeast Asia operations as Country Head, covering markets such as Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Vietnam. Based in Singapore, Huete will directly report to Jerome Niddam, CEO of Asia Pacific, and will also join the APAC Management Committee.
With over 30 years of expertise in the financial services industry, Huete has been associated with the company for 28 years. He joined Huete in 1997 as Director of the Structured Finance Group. His extensive background also includes earlier stints in investment banking at Nomura and BancoUrquijo.
Alvaro Huete expressed enthusiasm about his new appointment, “Excited to be taking on a new challenge in this dynamic region and building on a fantastic platform.
