Hindalco Industries Limited (a part of AdityaBirlaGroup) has elevated Sukhendu Ghosh to CHR – Vice President & Head Skills Development. In this role, he will lead the company’s workforce capability-building initiatives and align talent development with Hindalco’s long-term growth vision.
With over 30 years of experience, Sukhendu brings a wealth of expertise in technical leadership, people management, and operational excellence. Over the years, he has played vital roles in shaping the workforce development strategies within Aditya Birla Group. He has led as the Head of Operations at Aditya Birla Management Corporation, where he oversaw the team’s execution of skills training and entrepreneurship development programs. He also served as the Assistant Vice President at Hindalco, where he contributed in strengthening the company’s talent frameworks and large-scale transformation.
Sukhendu also worked with INDUS EDUTRAIN PRIVATE LIMITED as Business Head, leading the business division of the company while securing business from the central and state governments.
With his new elevation, he will be focusing on Hindalco’s workforce, ensuring employees are equipped with advanced skills.
