Vaishali Nigam Sinha was appointed as the Co-Chair of the CII Centre for Women Leadership. She is also the Co-founder of ReNew and Chairperson of Sustainability. Ms. Vaishali brings 30 years of experience and has worked with several banking and investment organisations at top leadership levels.
Before founding ReNew, she was the Senior Vice President- Investment Banking at Macquarie Capital Advisers (India) Private Limited and Executive Vice President India Head-Investment Banking at Daiwa Securities SMBC Co. Ltd. Ms. Vaishali has also worked with DSP Merrill Lynch Limited, Prudential Financial, and Daiwa Capital Markets Europe Ltd.
Throughout her three-decade career, she has developed market entry scenarios, planned acquisitions, and closely worked with equity capital markets and investment groups to generate deals.
At ReNew, Ms. Vaishali has been driving the company’s net-zero agenda and sustainability strategy. She is leading initiatives that drive social impacts, aligning those with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. With her initiatives, she has helped underserved communities and has improved the lives of over 1.5 million people.
