Vimal Venkatram is appointed as the Vice President of Speedata.io for the Asia Pacific and Japan region. With two decades of experience in the sales industry.
He started his journey as a Business Development Manager at CA Inc. (Formerly known as Computer Associates) in 2005. Since then, Vimal has contributed to multiple companies, including Hitachi Data Systems Americas, Oracle, Citrix, MuleSoft, Snowflake, and Redis. In his 20 years of expertise, he has managed cross-border sales in South East Asia and the Asia Pacific, and Japan region. His versatile skills make him the ideal candidate for the role.
Before joining Speedata, he had worked with Redis as the Managing Director for the APJ region. Vimal also acquired skills in Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI).

Speedata recently raised $44 million Series B round, which was led by Walden Catalyst Ventures, 83NORTH, Koch Disruptive Technologies, Pitango First, and Viola Ventures. The company also has the support of industry leaders Lip-Bu Tan from Intel Corporation and Mellanox Technologies co-founder Eyal Waldman.
