Vipin Nair is the Vice President – Communications at Cognizant. Nair has over two decades of expertise in the media and communication field and has worked with multiple companies over the years.
Nair has led companies such as Azim Premji Foundation, Premji Invest, BBC, Wipro, Ticker, Newswire18, Crisil, The Economic Times, and Financial Express (India). With his extensive experience in journalism, he has guided Media and PR at Azim Premji Foundation and was also the Director of Communications at Premji Invest, which handles assets of over $14 billion, supporting the philanthropic initiatives. His dynamic communication strategies have led many initiatives, including mid-meal schemes in Karnataka and the Azim Premji Scholarship for girl children.
Serving over a decade as the Global Head of Communication at Wipro Ltd, where he supervised organization-wide strategy and execution of external and internal communication. Successfully handling key responsibilities, including crisis communication, reputation management, media relations, and more. Over the time, he enhanced the brand visibility of the company and also launched Wipro’s very own podcast WiproonAir, which emerged as the key medium for employee communication.
In his current role, Nair would be expected to develop communication strategies and enhance the organization’s presence.
