Vishal Mehra has been appointed as the General Manager of JW Marriott Chandigarh. With over 30 years of experience across the Middle East, Central Asia, and India, Mehra brings a proven track record of strategic leadership, operational excellence, and a strong people-first approach.
Over the years, he has held leadership roles at some of the world’s most prestigious hotels, including Andaz Capital Gate Abu Dhabi – by Hyatt, Hyatt Place Dubai Hotels & Residences, Park Hyatt Chennai, Hyatt Hotels Corporation, Marriott International, and more. Over his career, he has successfully opened six hotels and converted two existing properties, significantly contributing to the global growth of luxury hospitality brands.
Most recently, Mehra served as General Manager of the hotels in Kathmandu under the Marriott banner, where he repositioned the properties as regional benchmarks in service excellence and brand performance.
On his appointment, Mehra expressed pride in joining JW Marriott Chandigarh and a commitment to elevating guest experiences and reinforcing the hotel’s reputation as a leading luxury destination in the region.
