SUN PHARMA welcomes Jayashree Satagopan as CFO
Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd appointed new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Jayashree Satagopan, effective 1st July 2025. She will join as the Executive Vice President – Finance & Accounts and CFO (Designate) on 9th May, succeeding C S Muralidharan. Mr. Muralidharan is set to retire after 8 years of exceptional tenure at the company.
Satagopan has a remarkable journey in the financial sector. For three decades, she has worked with renowned companies like Coromandel International Limited, Teva Pharmaceuticals, PI Industries Ltd, International Paper, GE HealthCare, and more. Leading other companies at top leadership positions and contributing to driving financial performance and growth. She has led Coromandel International as the President Corporate & CFO.
She was associated with GE Healthcare for 9 years and has experience in managing South Asia as well. She led the company as the Vice President – Interventional & Surgery for South Asia.
With Satagopan onboard, Sun Pharma aims to focus on innovation, operational excellence, and financial governance. This will enhance the global growth of the company and its expansion.
