Gully Labs Secures ₹8.7 Crore in Seed Funding to Expand Culture-Driven Sneaker Brand
Gully Labs is a Delhi-based sneaker brand known for its innovative blending of Indian cultural narratives with premium craftsmanship. The company recently raised ₹8.7 crore in the seed funding round. The equity fund was led by Zeropearl VC, with notable participation from Vivekananda Hallekere (Bounce), Suhasini Sampath (Yoga Bar (Sprout Life Foods)), Nishchay Ag (Jar), Ashutosh Valani (RENÉE Cosmetics), and micro-funds like Untitled Ventures and Atrium Ventures. Stride Ventures led the debt investment.
Gully Labs was founded by two engineers who turned into entrepreneurs, Arjun Singh and Animesh Mishra, in 2023. Gully Labs is reimagining premium sneakers through the lens of Indian culture. The sneakers reflect the embroidery and silhouettes of regional traditions and festivals.
With freshly secured funds, the company plans to diversify products, open retail outlets in strategic locations, and expand digital and offline sales channels.
Co-founders Singh and Mishra expressed their vision: “This round is a big step forward for us. We have always believed that Indian stories deserve a global stage not just in art and cinema, but in products people use and wear every day. With this backing, we are excited to scale our vision, grow our team, expand into physical retail, and bring even more culturally rooted, design-led sneakers to people across India and beyond.”
